Travel Diary2 - Northern Ireland - Belfast

Belfast is a capital of Northern Ireland. That city is well-known as the birth place of Titanic as you know. This year is one hundred year after the birth of Titanic...However Main event for us was three wishes that are Argentine tango festival there, visiting to The world heritage called The Giant's Causeway( is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic eruption.) and Antique village near Belfast.

今回は北アイルランドの首都、ベルファストのお話。ベルファストは皆さんもご存知の通り、タイタニックが製造された町です。今でもその名残りが町に残っています。タイタニックは今年で製造100年を迎えたそうです。今回はタイタニックメインではなく、この町でアルゼンチンタンゴのフェスティヴァルが有るという事で、３年越しで待ちに待った世界遺産訪(ジャイアンツ、コーズウェィという古い昔の火山爆発で出来た６角形の柱のような石群がそびえ立つ海岸)　そして、アンティークヴィレッジ訪問も全部まとめてしちゃおう！というのか当初の目的でした。
